CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE – SOLICITOR
A rewarding opening within a specialist in-house team investigating and assess the merits of claims on behalf of a professional body.
You’ll manage a substantial caseload of UK claims at various stages of development, investigating them in their entirety and provide effective proposals to move claims to resolution. Naturally there will be substantial contact with members, external lawyers and third parties. Some aspects of the role will involve international claims.
You’ll be a qualified solicitor with experience of defendant litigation, preferably in personal injury or clinical negligence. Our clients need a lawyer who will take a proactive and strategic approach to claims management, whilst at the same time understanding the key importance of accurate claims estimates and data. Clearly good communications and lucid negotiation will be key parts of the job.

SOLICITOR – REAL ESTATE
An interesting opening to join a leading planning team which has been involved in some of the largest urban and regeneration projects in the country.
Your role will be to provide legal advice on town and country planning issues including major infrastructure projects, planning/highways agreements, planning enforcement, listed buildings, urban regeneration projects and advocacy at public inquiries. Compulsory purchase experience, whilst not essential, would also be appreciated.
You will probably have three years or more PQE in planning although this is not set in stone and our clients will be happy to talk to candidates who have appropriate knowledge they need. You will become an important part of the Claims Solutions team which advises insurers on major accidents & liabilities and fraudulent claims, Clearly a very interesting department.

The emphasis is certainly on organisational matters rather than routine typing.
